What we believe
Lift Up.
Look Up.
Live Up.
We believe in lifting people up—whether that means meeting an immediate need or providing longer-term support.
When people are lifted up, they can begin to look up, finding renewed hope, restored dignity and the confidence to believe that their circumstances can change.
Then, they can begin to live up. What does this mean? They experience greater stability, opportunity, and wellbeing. They gain the ability and mindset to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities.
In short, when people are lifted up, they can look up—and start living up!
When one person is lifted up, they can help lift a family. When a family is lifted, a community can begin to rise. And when communities rise, they can become places where people do not simply survive—they have the opportunity to thrive. This is why we are committed to helping people rise.
More about usWhat we do
Immediate relief, practical care, sustainable development and lasting empowerment.
We meet practical needs today through UP Packs, providing essential supplies to individuals, families and communities. Through UP Cares, we bring comfort, dignity and practical support to those facing difficult circumstances. Through UP Builds, we create sustainable solutions that strengthen communities and create opportunities for the future. Through UP Inspires, we help people heal, think differently, make wise choices, develop their potential, and dream beyond their present circumstances.
Whether it is a food pack that meets an immediate need, a blanket that restores dignity, a farming initiative that creates livelihoods for years to come, or a leadership programme that changes the way someone sees their future, every UP initiative has the same purpose: to help people rise.
